Richard Boersig

Richard Boersig is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Clinical Social Work Intern (CSW-I). He enjoys helping people lead lives that they find fulfilling and meaningful, even in the face of significant challenges. Richard received his master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2022. He has two years of experience working on the 988 national suicide Lifeline as a call taker and a trainer, and a year’s worth of clinical experience working with at risk-youth at Reno’s Eddy House. 

He enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. He utilizes a variety of psychotherapeutic methods, especially Motivational Interviewing, Reflective and Supportive Listening, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and psychodynamic methods. He believes that everyone has the potential for growth and change, and the ability to craft their life as they see fit.
