Mary Wammack

Hello, my name is Mary Wammack. I moved from Germany and have been residing in Las Vegas, NV for the past 26 years.  Growing up in a diversified country and moving to Las Vegas has inspired my desire to become a therapist. Diversity, blending of cultural backgrounds and the changing state of economy has created an overwhelming constant state of challenges for many families and individuals. Many have experienced grief, depression, anxiety and stress at such a fast rate that the courage to take that first step towards healing is needed now more than ever.

My experience and knowledge as a licensed marriage and family therapist with over ten years of experience has helped many. I have worked with many individuals and families across the lifespan on a variety of concerns to include depression, anxiety, anger management, grief, end of life issues, trauma, LGBTQIA+ concerns and family relationships. My clients have shared with me that they enjoy my keen observations, reflective nature, sometimes challenging inquiries and appreciate my quick-witted-sometimes goofy humor. I can assure you together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and build meaningful social connections for a better quality of life. My training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy parts and memory trauma focused therapy, and solutions focused therapy has allowed me as a therapist to be the person behind my clients who unflinchingly supports them to be the best person they can be and obtain their goals.

If you are looking for a compassionate, empathetic, respectful and most of all non-judgmental atmosphere to help with life’s challenges, I am here for you. I love what I do and I am committed to helping others engage in a more meaningful quality of life.
