Christi Passalacqua

Hello, my name is Christi Passalacqua. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Intern currently working towards full licensure. I have been a therapist with Legacy Health and Wellness since January 8, 2017. I attended College of Southern Nevada where I graduated with an Associates of Science in 2009. I received a Bachelors in Psychology from Nevada State College in 2012. I received a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Phoenix in 2016.

I have worked with individuals struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief/loss, difficulties managing life stressors, and history of trauma. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am currently attending a program through PESI to become a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder provider. I have knowledge of the current CCSD educational system and have an understanding of the process to receive additional services necessary through the school district in order to obtain specialized learning assistance within schools.

I am compassionate about helping individuals from childhood to adulthood work to address areas of difficulties by increasing positive skills to assist in coping with their symptoms through use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The greatest reward I have as a therapist is watching my clients grow and make change in their lives through dedication and consistency with the therapeutic process.
