Robin Knox

My name is Robin Knox. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. My practice is located at the Legacy Health and Wellness, 2921 North Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89128. I received my Bachelor of Arts in human services from the University of Phoenix (Oakland, CA site) in 2011, and I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lincoln Christian University in Las Vegas in 2018.  I completed my community internship at Canyon Ridge Church Counseling Center in Las Vegas. I am a current member of the American Association of Marriage and family Therapy (AAMFT). In addition, I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern in the state of Nevada.

I enjoy working with individuals who are looking to heal and become empowered to be the best part of themselves. I work with elders, adults, teens, couples, and adolescents. I strive to create a safe place to process my clients’ daily lives.

I have experience in different theories including Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, (EMDR), Parts and Memory, Gottman, Narrative, Solution Focused, Structural, and other therapies to help heal my client’s mental health by working on mind, body, and spirit to create hope with my individual clients. I teach coping skills to deal with issues such as anger management, behavioral issues, depression, family conflict, life transitions, parenting issues, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harming, stress, and suicidal ideation. I believe that with the appropriate guidance and support, people can find hope and gain empowerment in their lives. I understand how difficult it is for clients to deal with emotional, family, mental health and other issues that affect their health and well-being.
