Gustavo Reyes

Hello! My name is Gustavo Reyes (Gus for short), I’m a psychotherapist who specializes in working with eating disorders, substance use, OCD, trauma and other patterns that can feel hard to control, like compulsive behaviors or process addictions.

I often work with people who feel stuck in cycles of urges, habits, or emotional overwhelm, whether that shows up around food, substances, gambling, sexual behaviors, or other patterns. Together, we focus on building awareness, learning practical skills, and creating changes that actually feel sustainable in day-to-day life.

My style is collaborative, structured when it needs to be, and always tailored to the person in front of me. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Brainspotting, while also integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other behavioral approaches to support long-term change.

I’m a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. I’m currently working toward licensure as a Clinical Social Worker and certification as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, and I stay actively engaged in ongoing training to better support the clients I work with.
