Angel McHenry
Angel is a warm, collaborative Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who believes that healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. She works with individuals, couples, families, and teens who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
Angel’s therapeutic approach is relational and compassionate, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed frameworks. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she partners closely with clients to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals, helping them build insight, emotional awareness, and practical skills for lasting change.
Angel has a special passion for supporting adolescents as they navigate social anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt. She helps teens develop confidence, emotional regulation skills, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, while also collaborating with caregivers to support growth at home and in school environments. She is honored to walk alongside clients in their healing journeys and strives to create a therapeutic space that feels welcoming, empowering, and grounded in hope.
