Melissa War

My name is Melissa War, and I’m a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience across various areas of health care, including hospice care, bereavement support, case management, and administration. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Alabama. I began my career in hospice and palliative care, where I supported patients and their families through grief and end-of-life transitions. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for helping others find hope and healing during some of life’s most difficult moments. Now completing my clinical social work internship, I remain committed to providing compassionate care, meaningful support, and thoughtful guidance as we work together to achieve your personal goals. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, reading mystery and literary fiction, and training as a dedicated marathon runner.
