Suzanne Swanger
I am a proud 60-year-old grandma and mom. I have 2 daughter and 1 son, which have given me 7 beautiful grandchildren. I graduated in 2021 with MS Professional Counseling with an emphasis on child and adolescent disorders. I never thought I would begin a new career at the age of 55, but I have enjoyed working in this field for 5 years. I feel every day that I am fulfilling my calling. I knew I had a lot of compassion and empathy towards others, and now I can help others grow and feel better.
Fun Things About Me! I am a kid at heart. Even though I hit the big 60 last year, I still feel young and alive. I love football and of course my favorite is the Raiders and Eagles. I like to stay active by going hiking and just enjoying life. Every day is a new day, and I enjoy life to the fullest.
At work my responsibilities are to provide psychotherapy to adults and children. 80% of my clients are children and teens who have been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. I enjoy working with the kiddos and young adults through the tough times and celebrate the accomplishments in life and therapy. I have a current case load of 35 clients, and I really enjoy what I do.
